Job Description
Provide leadership and motivation to a range of theatre practitioners and learners
Jointly responsible alongside the Plastics leadership team for the delivery of high standards of care and service to our patients
Oversee clinical, equipment and staffing needs for Plastic surgery.
Supervise staff in the delivery of care, as well as identify, develop and support staff training needs.
Work collaboratively with Plastic consultants/surgeons and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure that Plastics lists have everything needed to achieve optimal outcomes
Adhere to the concepts laid out by the 5 Steps to Safer Surgery and the WHO Surgical Safety Checklist.
Demonstrate clinical expertise in scrub and circulating practice across a range of Plastic and Reconstructive cases.
